Playoff Preview 22 area teams remain in the playoff race, 9 of those coming from our 4A classifications. In case you're wondering when you look at the schedules, 4A playoffs are split up into 2 divisions, the first commonly known as the Big 16. In the 3A classifications, several of our area teams are matched up against each other, including a rematch between Clinton and Belton-Honea Path; Clinton took the first game 21-14. Daniel also faces a tough challenge when it hosts Chester, the team that defeated them last year in the Upper State Championship. In 2A, the most interesting storyline to follow is that if Woodruff and Abbeville both win they will face each other again. In Week 3, Woodruff won 36-35. Only 2 teams remain in A playoffs, and because they are facing each other, an Upstate team will definitely be in the Upper State championship!
