Byrnes 17, Dorman 10
The Rebels defensive line sacked Johnny Foster 4 times and constantly put pressure in the backfield. Neither team gained many yards on offense, but the Rebels pounded away with the run game to hold on to the victory. The key to the Rebels victory was limiting Charone Peake to one catch for a 63-yard TD. The pressure from Byrnes defensive line truly decided the outcome of the game.

WYFF Fast Facts
----------------------------------------
  1. Dorman defeated Byrnes 35-28 on October 25, 2008.
  2. Byrnes averages 58.8 points against South Carolina opponents.
  3. The Cavaliers come off two straight wins over undefeated region opponents.
  4. Byrnes DE Corey Miller has 11 sacks on the season and DE Brandon Willis has 8 tackles for loss.

Woodruff 42, Broome 7
If anyone in the Region II-2A could have stopped Woodruff, it was Broome. At least the Centurions scored a touchdown. Jake Lambert and crew are on an unstoppable rampage to the state championship.

Clinton 13, Union County 10
Only a last-second field goal kept Clinton alive in the region race. The Red Devils are 2-2 tied with Union, Blue Ridge, and Riverside for second place behind Greer. But due to tiebreker victories over Union and Riverside, Clinton trails Riverside for second in the region race.

Mauldin 21, Boiling Springs 6
It's a great feeling to be right, and predicting Tiquention Coleman as the big playmaker in the game against Boiling Springs was a moneymaker after he took a hook-and-ladder to the endzone for our Play of the Week. After this win, Mauldin is in 3rd place in the region, which happens to be the last playoff spot.
