The season ended for all but 4A, and 25 area teams are in the playoffs. Check here for our top 4 area teams and the remaining 8 that complete our power rankings list!

5. Gaffney (8-2) - DeEdward Burris has emerged as a star quarterback and totaled 340 yards on a great Clover team. The Indians outlasted Clover's unstoppable run offense, but need to prepare for pass-oriented Nortwestern, a hot team with the state's top quarterback Justin Worley.

6. Mauldin (8-2) - Two straight losses and the Mavs need to defeat rival Hillcrest to make the playoffs. Offense still performed well against Byrnes, but the weak secondary cost them the game.

7. Abbeville (9-1) - Sealed one-loss season and look to exact revenge on Woodruff. QB Jermaine Thackson has emerged as the face of this A-Bone offense, and it seems every week we've seen outstanding highlights from him. Abbeville faces Palmetto in the first round of the playoffs.

8. Greenville (8-2) - The Red Raiders are winners of 8 straight and another region title. They enter the playoffs as a #1 seed, and the return of Pat Langley boosted the team's performance even more the past two games.

9. Boiling Springs (8-2) - Won first region game against Spartanburg, but it was very close and almost left the Bulldogs with one region win. This week may not end well when Boiling Springs hosts Byrnes.

10. Belton-Honea Path (8-2) - The Bears face a tough Eastside squad in the first round of the playoffs, but close losses against Clinton and Daniel seem to have made this team much stronger.

11. Wren (8-2) - The Hurricanes were no underdogs at Greenwood last week, but many felt so because of previous years. Wren matches up well with a talented quarterback and a tough defense, and will be a tough team to stop in the playoffs.

12. Pendleton (8-2) - Pendleton's only two losses came against Daniel and Abbeville, two of the toughest teams in the area. The Bulldogs are well-tested and boast a strong running game, and will threaten many teams in the 2A playoff race.
